Anthony M. Gantous
Anthony Gantous has been a trial lawyer since 2003. His practice focuses on wrongful death, medical negligence, serious auto and truck accidents, and criminal and traffic cases. He is licensed to practice law in Virginia and Ohio.
Anthony earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from American University in 1997, and then went on to graduate cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2003. While in law school, Anthony was a member of the Pepperdine Law Review, served as a teaching assistant, and also earned a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Following law school, Anthony practiced for over five years with a national law firm headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, where he primarily focused on the defense of medical negligence and product liability claims, as well as business litigation matters. In 2009, Anthony moved with his wife and daughter to Virginia Beach, Virginia, and joined the team of attorneys at Pierce & Thornton, a law firm dedicated solely to representing the rights of the severely injured.
Anthony made the switch from the defense bar to the plaintiff's bar because of his strong desire to help individuals through difficult times. He feels honored and privileged to be able to use his law degree to fight for the rights of people who have been severely injured or who have lost a loved one due to another's negligence.
